I
remember at 5 years old, that sunday morning,
sitting in front of the TV screen, watching the week-end 8 O'clock classical
concert, when no one in the house was awake yet. The
sound wasn't too load but, just enough that I could hear that piano
player. It
was some Tchaïkovsky, it drived me so deep than I realized...Thats
It! I
was going to be a COMPOSER. Nobody
knew yet, but I was studying my ears glued to radios and TVs, to grab
the essence and structure that makes the feelling drive and reach his
goal of sensitivities. Then, at 16 years old, I bougth my first tenor saxophone...! I met guys that knew me that I didn't know of and we were party in the wood near lakes and mountains ...the wild thing! ...You hear your heart beat when it is SILENCE. Saxophone playing echos by mountains was fantastic. There I really felted and realized where connections of time is...at this very moment. Since then, I was practicing saxophone in a practice-studio where was a piano standing the wall...YES! Meanwhile, studying technicals structure of music helps me to learn yet my studies and the piano. Where I get to know the guys of my first group at 18 years old. But still, I was playing the same all nights. To understand the feeling of others, doesn't mean to appouve or to excuse them...but understanding is rigth. It makes me see the different rythmes of everyone, and give some respect. Later, Synthesizer became the KEY to my composing. Because of the rehearsals at any time of the days, without disturbing musician fellows of their living needs. Then, computer happened to be one fellow. All the possibilities to be composer were only beginning. The first time I used the Web was in 1992, it was going to be very usefull to me. Internet evolved as we know it today. I don't have any mentally structure base on themes and stories of whatever...nor to be sentimentaly organized. I only know that heart speaks and it speaks rigth. My basic inspiration technics are from both Jazz and Classical...one or the other, who knows? I welcome you to this site of mine and I'll be glad to hear from you. Tremennen Ag |
